Our Story

At Page and Sage, I believe that witchcraft is a practice that should be accessible to all.  That is why I have created this space in the hopes of finding like-minded people to share our personal journeys, experiences, and expertise.

I am a UK based solo practitioner, and I am still learning.  I've known for a long time that I'm a witch, and for almost as long, I've known I want to be in community with others.

Page & Sage has been an idea for a few years, coming together slowly over time; this is the meaning behind the name of this shop and community:

Page, meaning young learner, a character in tarot with a playful relationship with the world often without bias or prejudice, also meaning the page of a book, be it a journal or grimoire, or a reference book as you continue to learn.

Sage, meaning a more seasoned learner, probably teacher, profoundly wise with a wealth of experience. Also, a herb used for cooking and cleansing.

The aim of the business would be to carry items for "all" paths, but my shop will not be carrying appropriative items like dream catchers or Palo Santo, or white sage, or chakra rainbow items.

(As a queer, cis gendered woman, I can confirm there will of course be super gay rainbow items).

I want to help decolonise witchcraft and help people connect with the roots of western witchcraft.  This is not a space that is welcoming to all - if you are not prepared to decolonise your practice and commit to be intersectional in how you approach your practice, this is probably not the space for you.
